By establishing the COMEX, the Group equips itself with an executive decision-making body that sets its strategy, steers performance and resources, and takes collective accountability for the Group’s results — enabling it to shape its future and sustain its competitive edge.

Responsibilities
1 · Define Strategy and Arbitrate Major Choices
- Set the Group’s vision, mission and long-term strategic objectives, and arbitrate the major choices of the Horizon 2030 plan.
- Draw on analysis of the external environment, market trends and the competitive landscape to inform strategic direction.
- Ensure the strategy remains aligned with the Group’s core values and strengths.
2 · Steer Performance and Allocate Resources
- Steer Group performance against its strategic and financial objectives.
- Allocate resources and set priorities across brands, subsidiaries and regions.
- Review major strategic projects at key decision gates (go / no-go), remove roadblocks and make course corrections.
3 · Report and Take Collective Accountability
- Report the Group’s results and progress to the SFA Board.
- Take collective ownership of the decisions made and defend them consistently.
- Ensure their effective deployment across all Group entities, with cross-functional alignment.
