By establishing the COMEX, the Group equips itself with an executive decision-making body that sets its strategy, steers performance and resources, and takes collective accountability for the Group’s results — enabling it to shape its future and sustain its competitive edge.

The COMEX comprises the Group’s senior executive leaders, including:

  • Chief Executive Officer (CEO)
  • Deputy Chief Executive Officer (Deputy CEO)
  • Chief Financial Officer (CFO)
  • Chief Information Officer (CIO)
  • Chief Operating Officer (COO)
  • Chief Commercial Officer (CCO)
  • Chief Marketing Officer (CMO)
  • Chief Technology Officer (CTO)
  • Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO)
  • Chief Supply Chain Officer (CSCO)

Responsibilities

1 · Define Strategy and Arbitrate Major Choices

  • Set the Group’s vision, mission and long-term strategic objectives, and arbitrate the major choices of the Horizon 2030 plan.
  • Draw on analysis of the external environment, market trends and the competitive landscape to inform strategic direction.
  • Ensure the strategy remains aligned with the Group’s core values and strengths.

2 · Steer Performance and Allocate Resources

  • Steer Group performance against its strategic and financial objectives.
  • Allocate resources and set priorities across brands, subsidiaries and regions.
  • Review major strategic projects at key decision gates (go / no-go), remove roadblocks and make course corrections.

3 · Report and Take Collective Accountability

  • Report the Group’s results and progress to the SFA Board.
  • Take collective ownership of the decisions made and defend them consistently.
  • Ensure their effective deployment across all Group entities, with cross-functional alignment.
